Youth Programs
The Library offers stand alone as well as recurring programs. Programs held on a regular basis are listed below. For a complete list of our upcoming programs, please check out our events calendar and social media. Some library programs may require pre-registration. Recurring Programs
Dress Up Story Time
We're using our imaginations during special Dress Up Days at Story Time once each month. We'll have a guest reader(s) dressed as a favorite character join us to share stories and spark imaginations. Dressing up isn't required for attendees, but encouraged! Held on the 4th Thursdays of each month at 10:30 AM. No registration required.
Summer Reading
Sign ups for our Summer Reading Program begin in June and go until August. The 2024 theme is Adventure Begins at Your Library.
Weekly Story Time
Includes a craft or activity related to the week's story. Every Thursday at 10:30 AM. No registration required. For children of all ages!
Note: If GESD is closed or on a two hour delay, Story Time will be cancelled.
Virtual Story Time
A monthly, virtual Story Time presented via Facebook. Every 2nd Saturday at 10:30 AM. No registration required. For children of all ages!
