The Library offers stand alone as well as recurring programs. Programs held on a regular basis are listed below. Recurring Programs

Adult Craft

Join us on the 4th Wednesday every month to create a wide variety of crafts. Classes are offered at at 1:30 PM, 5:30 PM, or as a kit to pick up to do at home. Registration required.

Books 'N Brews

A Book Group presented by Gloversville Public Library and Johnstown Public LibraryJoin us every other month on the 3rd Wednesday at 6 PM for good company and conversation over food and drinks at a local restaurant as we discuss that month's title. First round of appetizers is on us! Registration required.

Craft & Cookies

Enjoy cookies while working on a varying craft project! Registration required. Held on 5th Saturdays during regular hours from 1:00-3:00 PM. Ages 18+

Defensive Driving

Six-hour in-person course from the Empire Safety Council, held twice a year. Save 10% on auto insurance for three years! Registration required with payment of $35 per driver (cash or check). Checks payable to: Gloversville Public Library.

Easy Eats Club

Every other month on the 2nd Wednesday at 5:30 PM. Join us as we make and share foods with varying themes. Bring your own small container(s) to bring a portion of each dish home with you. Registration required.

Garden Club

These programs will help you experience the joys of gardening! 3rd Thursdays at 1:30 PM in summer and fall months. No registration required.

Joy of Coloring

Join us every 1st Wednesday at 5:30 PM for a relaxing hour of coloring. No registration required.

Local Author's Fair

Held annually on a Saturday (varies). Come visit your favorite local authors to browse their books, ask questions, and attend panel discussions.

Write On!

Join us for an open creative writing workshop for teens and adults. No registration required. Every 3rd Friday from 3:00-4:30 PM. Ages 13+
