The Library offers stand alone as well as recurring programs. Programs held on a regular basis are listed below. Recurring Programs
Adult Craft
Join us on the 4th Wednesday every month to create a wide variety of crafts. Classes are offered at at 1:30 PM, 5:30 PM, or as a kit to pick up to do at home. Registration required.
Books 'N Brews
A Book Group presented by Gloversville Public Library and Johnstown Public Library. Join us every other month on the 3rd Wednesday at 6 PM for good company and conversation over food and drinks at a local restaurant as we discuss that month's title. First round of appetizers is on us! Registration required.
Easy Eats Club
Every other month on the 2nd Wednesday at 5:30 PM. Join us as we make and share foods with varying themes. Bring your own small container(s) to bring a portion of each dish home with you. Registration required.
Explorations into Alternative Healing Practices
Join us as we explore a variety of Bioenergetic Techniques such as Acupressure Point Stimulation, Breathwork, etc, that aim to improve health, wellness, and energy. Every last Tuesday at 6:30 PM on Zoom. Registration required.
Garden Club
These programs will help you reconnect with your food and experience the joys of gardening! 3rd Thursdays at 1:30 PM. No registration required.
Joy of Coloring
Join us every 1st Wednesday at 5:30 PM for a relaxing hour of coloring. No registration required.
Introduction to Qi Gong
Explore a series of 4,000 year old moving meditation practices that help clear away emotional stress, develop balance & harmony, and nurture health & vitality. Registration required. Every Tuesday at 10 AM. Live at the Rail Trail Park until Mid-October, then via Zoom.
Local Author's Fair
Held annually on a Saturday (varies). Come visit your favorite local authors to browse their books, ask questions, and attend panel discussions.
Mindfulness Tea with Christie
Bring your favorite brew and join us for a deep dive into a variety of Meditation and Mindfulness Practices for improved overall health. Every 2nd Tuesday at 6:30 PM via Zoom. Registration required.
Ravenous Readers
A food-focused Book Group for readers with taste. Bring a snack to the Library and take a seat at the table every other 3rd Wednesday at 12 PM for a delectable discussion about this month's fabulous foodie book. No registration required.
Write On!
Join us for an open creative writing workshop for teens and adults. No registration required. Every 3rd Saturday at 1:00 PM from September to May and every 3rd Friday at 2:00 PM from June to August. Ages 13+
